Feedback
Week 2
My analysis is ok but i went a bit too much by giving personal opinions and correction suggestions for the logos. Week 3
Overall good in depth presentation for 20 logos. However, point form data should be more specific and separated for easier reading.Week 4
Overall very detailed in analysing the logo and logo build up. Hopefully can implement these skills in project 1.Week 5
My logo reviews we good as usual, and this week i focused in on brands relating to my project 3 assignment which Miss Low thought was a good idea and hopes it can help me design my logo ad brand identity.
Week 6
My logo reviews were good as usual. I tried to highlight a different type of brand that is still somewhat connected to my project 3 brand to a certain extent. She felt that it was a god try to explore slightly outwards into more brands.
Reflection
Experience
The overall experience of the logo exercise was both stressful and informative. I learned a lot about not only common brands but also internationally known brands and how their brand became popular based on their brand identity and branding strategies. By creating an appealing brand that targets not only specific people but has a long lasting impressions, a brand can become a house hold name that is universally known. From perspective, learning and discovering about these brands provided me information about the brand's history and changes made to their logos and whether or not those changes were successful in making the brand more known.
Observation
I noticed that at the start of the project, many students, myself included, were very confused as to how and what we should be evaluating on the logos. An interesting bit to note is that i had a hard time looking for logos at some point because i wanted to present logos that had deeper meanings in them and valued the symbolism they carried over style and logo type. It seemed like some students used senior works as reference so they knew at least the basics of what to do, but as for me Miss Los's feedback helped me understand all that i was supposed to present about in logos.
Findings
I found that there are so many logos that carry so much historical meaning. Some logos were so well designed that they have never changed from the time the brand was established. Which begs the question, "What makes this logo identity so memorable and lasting?". I keep trying to refer back to my research in my project 3 to try to implement what I've learned from this to my logo to really find a style or logo type that can carry my brand in the most positive way and create a lasting impression on people.

7 Types of Logos
by 99designs
This article by 99designs really help me through the project of analysing and breaking down logos. The article separated logos in 7 categories that included symbols, wordmark, emblem and so on. Their use of modern examples really puts into perspective which logos I wad analysing falls into which category. Some were even known as combinations as they carried elements from different categories. The article also explains why the specific logo style was used and how it can reflect and brand's personality. It also goes into detail about how to create a lasting impression with the logo so that a simple logo can represent an entire brand.
